The Tag That Mean Everything

Before you can write something inside a HTML document, you got to know the basic tags. Below is the tags that most frequently appears in the HTML documents.

Now, let us examine the command line by line.
• Line one B Tag simply mean bold. If you want to express your word in bold form, this is the tag for you. Put the tag at the beginning of the word and at the end with a backslash on it. Sample : Bold Tag
• Line two I Tag is the command that make the word appear Italic. Sample : Italic Tag
• U tag stand for underline. Sample : Underline Tag
• TT Tag stand for monospace. Sample : Monospace, monospace.
• Pre Tag being use when you want the arrangement of the text to be appear in the form you specified. For example, to do this..

  Hi
                           How are you

  Place the PRE beginning tag at the beginning of the first word, type the second word in the second row just like the appearence on the above example and close it up with the backslash pre tag.

• Both BR and P Tags stand for the break of the word or sentence and this tag will automatically put your next word or sentence in the second row. Remember, HTML document won't understand you want to put the word or sentence in the second row unless you put the tag on them. You need not have to put a backslash close up tag for this tags. Sample :

  Break.

• HR Tag is the same as the underline tag except it will underline on the whole document instead on the single word. There is no need for the close tag command for this tag. Sample:

  Horizontal Line

• Finally, FONT Tag will be very usefull for you to change the color, size and face of a word or document. Example : Font
